The development of a hydrogen import terminal at TES Wilhelmshaven has been included as a priority project in the German Government Acceleration Law, revealed today (May 25).
With this, the aim of the new law is to accelerate the implementation of the critical infrastructure needed to secure the energy supply of the country and its short-term gas imports.
Because this the significant potential that hydrogen could hold in decarbonising both Germany and Europe. The import hub will provide a basis to integrate hydrogen from abroad to the continent.
