Tree Energy Solutions (TES) has partnered with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE) to explore the development of hydrogen-based maritime solutions.
Under the agreement, TES’ portfolio of e-NG production and import projects will be paired with the Japanese company’s ambitions to transition its vessels to cleaner fuels with 2030 approaching.
Captured CO2 emissions will be blended with green hydrogen to produce e-NG and facilitate the transition to cleaner bunker fuels for “K” LINE’s vessel. The green hydrogen is expected to originate from TES’ green energy hub in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
