TEQ and GENA form hydrogen-focused partnership

Energy Transition Québec (TEQ) and the German Energy Agency (GENA) have launched an international cooperation to boost the energy transition through the use of hydrogen technologies.

As part their efforts, TEQ and GENA held a joint workshop through which seven experts from Germany and Canada exchanged views on greater energy efficiency in industry and buildings, marking the first step in a three-year cooperation agreement between Germany and Quebec.

Johanne Gélinas, President and CEO of Energy Transition, Quebec, said, “The energy transition that is needed here as elsewhere in the world is an ambitious societal project for which borders do not exist. Since the stakes are the same, we have every interest in collaborating and sharing our experiences.”

“The success of the energy transition inevitably requires the combined efforts and collective work of all stakeholders and the signing of this partnership with the DENA is part of this perspective.”
