The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) has adopted a revised strategy for reaching Net Zero greenhouse gases (GHG) in international shipping by around 2050.
The strategy includes an ambitious roadmap for reducing the shipping industry’s contribution to global GHG emissions and highlighting the sectors commitment to environmental sustainability.
Tore Enger, Group CEO of TECO 2030 – manufacturer for zero emission technology in the maritime and heavy industry, responded to the revised strategy.
