TECO 2030 receive €5m funding for 2.4MW hydrogen-powered tank

Norway-based TECO 2030 has today (December 21) finalised a €5m ($4.88m) grant for the hydrogen-powered tank project, HyEkoTank.

The grant has been signed by the European Union and the funding comes under the HORIZON EUROPE scheme, with the project planned to begin in February 2023.

Under project plans, the HyEkoTank 18.600DWT hydrogen-powered tanker will facilitate a 2.4MW fuel cell system and hold 4,000kg of compressed hydrogen storage.
