Norwegian-based TECO 2030’s compressed hydrogen fuel systems design has received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from DNV.
Coming with no “showstopper conditions,” the company said the AiP “affirms the viability and safety” of its system designs.
Said to be applicable for all ship types, the design covers essential components such as a bunkering system, inert tank connection space, fuel storage hold space, fuel supply system and gas relief system.
