Technip Energies has been selected by Arcadia eFuels for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) of a commercial eFuels facility for green hydrogen-based sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).
Set to be established in Vordingborg, Denmark, the companies say the facility will come as a ‘world’s first’, producing approximately 80,000 million tonnes of eKerosene and eNaphtha per year.
The project will cover the engineering of a 250MW electrolyser plant to produce green hydrogen, which will be used by Aracdia in combination with renewable energy and biogenic carbon dioxide to produce eFuels that can be used in traditional engines and existing infrastructure.
