TCP develops 500 hydrogen-powered lighting towers for hire

TCP Group has produced 500 hydrogen fuel cell mobile lighting towers that are now available to hire, with the support of a fully managed service.

The TCP Ecolite TH200 solution could benefit large infrastructure projects in the UK moving forward, according to Operations and Development Director at TCP Group, Jim Irvine, including the Sizewell C and Lower Thames Cross initiatives.

“This temporary lighting solution is the number one choice, as they are silent running, no spill risk and zero-emission at point of use,” he said. In 2015, Costain used TCP’s product on its Cross Rail project, and they were also used for the HS2 project.
