Tata Motors has unveiled a new R&D facility as it looks to further develop hydrogen internal combustion engines (ICEs) and hydrogen storage and dispensing technology in Pune, India.
The Indian automotive giant hopes the facility will come as another step towards meeting carbon neutrality while tapping hydrogen’s potential.
In April (2023), the company showcased its heavy-duty truck tractor – the Prima H.55S – in both hydrogen ICE and fuel cell models, along with a hydrogen fuel cell bus.
