A project aiming to convert a retired coal-fired plant in New Mexico, US, to create power from hydrogen has received significant backing from Tallgrass Energy who has acquired a 75% membership interest.
The 75% membership interest is in the project’s developer Escalante H2 Power (EH2) with Tallgrass recognising the potential of the first-of-its-kind project, the company has said.
