When designing hydrogen fluid systems, it is crucial to avoid carrying over outdated methods from the oil and gas industry, Ana Dominguez, Engineering Services Supervisor at Swagelok, said.
Dominguez was speaking on gasworld’s 1985 Podcast, highlighting the unique challenges in hydrogen system design compared to traditional oil and gas systems.
“The first main difference between the oil and gas market and the hydrogen industry is that the size of the molecule you’re working with is very different,” she explained.
