Sunshine Hydro, developers of an innovative hydrogen project, revealed today (May 4), that the ‘world’s first SuperHybrid™ project’ is planned for Central Queensland, Australia, with an investment of $2bn.
The ‘Flavian’ SuperHybrid, an integrated renewable energy, storage, and green hydrogen infrastructure project is planned within the Central Queensland Renewable Energy Zone (REZ).
Once fully operational the Flavian SuperHybrid will provide 65 tonnes per day of competitively priced green hydrogen for transport and local industry, as well as 220MW of green energy being supplied 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
