SunHydrogen has initiated the scale-up in production of 1m² green hydrogen panels with its industrial partner, COTEC.
South Korean-based COTEC has recently established a laboratory dedicated to SunHydrogen’s technology and has successfully replicated its proprietary process on a laboratory scale, employing advanced industrial electroplating techniques.
The technology is expected to be the only self-contained nanoparticle-based hydrogen generation device capable of splitting water molecules into high-purity green hydrogen. SunHydrogen’s solar panel is comprised of multiple generators immersed in water, each containing billions of electroplated nanoparticles.
