Sungrow’s alkaline electrolyser starts operation at Chinese chemical park

Sungrow Hydrogen has begun operating its alkaline electrolyser at the Shanxi Yulin Coal Chemical Industry base in China.

Sungrow’s electrolyser can produce 1,200 metres of hydrogen per hour (Nm³/h) at a purity of up to 99.999%, which marked a “significant step of the coal, chemical and new energy coupling technology R&D project.”

The Chinese electrolyser manufacturer’s offering included the alkaline electrolyser, PWM hydrogen production power supply, gas-liquid separation equipment, hydrogen purification equipment, an intelligent hydrogen management system and other supporting equipment.
