Sungrow has announced it will supply inverter skid solutions for a 600 tonne per day of carbon-free hydrogen project at the planned city of Neom.
The 2.2GW PV plant will be the largest single-site utility-scale PV plant in the Middle East, designed for the NEOM green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia, for the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC).
The company signed a contract with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to supply the solutions for the project, which is expected to be producing up to 600 tonnes of hydrogen by the end of 2026, marking a significant milestone to advance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision for a clean and sustainable future.
