Sunfire has launched a spin off business focusing on developing technologically advanced fuel cell systems.
Dubbed ‘new enerday,’ the company has been created due to Sunfire’s ambitions to target both the electrolyser and fuel cell markets.
Based in Neubrandenburg, Germany, new enerday will carry on from Sunfire Fuel Cells GmbH’s previous work, developing solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) designed for off grid energy supply in challenging conditions, with successful demonstrations in Alaska, Canada and Japan.
