Sunfire and Fraunhofer IFAM have launched the Integrate project to scale Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) technology for industrial applications.
Together with Canadian partners, Sunfire is collaborating to develop an AEM electrolyser in the upper double-digit kW range to produce cost-effective hydrogen.
Sunfire will provide a test stand with an electrolysis cell to measure the AEM stack’s performance at its Dresden site. The Institute project will ensure the design and optimisation of long-term and high-performance non-platinum groups of metal catalysts for use in dilute alkaline environments.
