Torrens Island, Adelaide, Australia is set to become the focus of a feasibility study to transform the island into a green hydrogen energy hub.
The study hopes to demonstrate the commercial and technical feasibility of establishing a renewable hydrogen hub and the production of hydrogen-derived products at AGL Energy’s Torrens Island power plant site.
GHD Advisory, an independent advisory firm, will head up the study which aims to map key operational and commercial plans for the project with a development timeline, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
