SENCO Hydrogen Capital has completed a €20m ($21.4m) investment in Strohm to advance developments in hydrogen and carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS) applications.
The Dutch company is an international manufacturer of pipeline technology and wants to develop innovative pipelines for the conventional and renewable energy sectors. This is expected to reduce the carbon footprint of infrastructure using conventional energies.
“We identified Strohm in 2023 as a market leader in the development of thermoplastic composite pipelines (TCP), an innovative, sustainable and value-adding contribution to the growing global offshore energy industry,” explained Carsten Schmeding, CEO and Managing Partner of SENCO.
