Steelhead Composites will expand its Colorado, US, site to increase the company’s capabilities in manufacturing composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) for compressed hydrogen storage.
This could provide a significant boost to the US hydrogen ecosystem with new expansion able to produce more COPVs for hydrogen storage.
These will be created using advanced, state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment with the company’s in-house liner manufacturing both polymeric lined (Type IV) and metal lined (Type III) vessels.
