South Korea could be set to benefit from hydrogen trams from 2023 with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy investing ₩42.4bn ($36m) in the project, it revealed today (Sept 23).
With zero-emission mobility solutions a key aspect to reach carbon neutral targets, the tram will utilise a hydrogen fuel cell developed by Hyundai Rotem totalling 380kW of power.
