The Czech Republic is set to gain its first hydrogen buses with Solaris today (Dec 8) revealing that an agreement had been met with the city of Ústí nad Labem to implement hydrogen-powered buses to its roads.
With this agreement, 20 hydrogen fuel cell Urbino 12 buses will be introduced to the city’s streets to decarbonise the transportation sector of the nation.
This could be a major development in the country with the hydrogen-powered buses able to showcase to the potential of the technology and how it can be successfully implemented into everyday lives.
