Last Friday (June 9), SOCAR Energy Switzerland opened what it says is the first hydrogen filling station on a Swiss motorway near Bern.
Situated at its service station on the A1, Grauholz Süd, the filling station is able to provide up to 600kg of hydrogen per day at 700 bar and 350 bar for cars and trucks.
The company has said it will “exclusively” sell green hydrogen at the station as part of its commitment to promoting sustainable transport solutions.
