Smoltek has today (May 30) signed a collaboration agreement with an unnamed ‘large international manufacturer of materials for electrolysers’ to integrate its nanofiber-based technology into proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser cells.
During the project, Smoltek’s nanofibers and corrosion protection will be combined with other materials from the manufacturer, and catalyst particles from a third party, into a lab-sized demonstrator.
H2 View understands, the demonstration material will then be integrated into a PEM electrolyser, ahead of test runs and measurements of its performance.
