Sky could switch its fleet to hydrogen as part of net zero emissions goal

Media and entertainment group Sky could switch its fleet of 5,000 vehicles to hydrogen as part of plans to become net zero by 2030.

The British company announced yesterday that it will cut emissions created from the use of its products, its suppliers across the world and its business.

Transforming its fleet to zero emission, developing the world’s most sustainable film and TV studios, and planting trees, mangroves and seagrass to absorb the carbon are just some of the ways Sky said it will meet its target.

Sky said it will also use its channels and programming to encourage others to #GoZero, spreading the word to millions of people every day.
