South Korea’s SK Ecoplant has today (May 17) said it will participate in a $4.5bn green hydrogen commercialisation project spearheaded by Canadian-based World Energy GH2.
Under the new partnership, the energy arm of SK Group will play a role in the first phase of the Nujio’qonik project, which plans to produce green hydrogen in the east of Canada.
The project plans to see green hydrogen produced from the project in Newfoundland exported to other continents, including Europe in the form of green ammonia.
