Great Wall Holdings and Sinopec have signed a cooperation framework agreement today (May 12) to explore hydrogen energy opportunities and decarbonise Chinese transport.
As part of the agreement, the two companies will use its own expertise to carry out broader, deeper and higher-level cooperation around the hydrogen industry helping to accelerate the adoption of the clean fuel.
Chinese state-owned Sinopec and Great Wall Motors will predominantly explore the feasibility and demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles that will help decarbonise the transportation sector.
