Singapore is set to expand low-carbon hydrogen and carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technologies following the completion of two feasibility studies.
This has been stated by the National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Energy Market Authority (EMA), Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
The group suggests that, as an alternative energy disadvantaged country, it expects these technologies to play important roles in the transition to a low-carbon future.
