Shell New Energies has partnered with Hydro Havrand to explore the potential in developing joint projects that produce hydrogen from renewable electricity, the companies revealed today (Nov 9).
With this development, Shell and Hydro have both said that the hydrogen produced from these projects will be used to decarbonise their own operations as well as providing carbon-free fuel for heavy industries, the maritime sector and road transportation.
