The Spanish Government has confirmed €794m ($859m) will be provided in state aid for seven green hydrogen projects.
Over 650MW of new electrolyser capacity will be provided with state funding. H2 View understands that €1.14bn ($1.2bn) of immediate investment will be deployed by the Spanish Government.
The Energy Minister, Teresa Ribera made the announcement today (July 9), aligning with the country’s aim to become a leader in green hydrogen across Europe, leveraging its abundant wind and solar resources.
