A Scottish museum is raising money to create an outdoor space that will tell the story of hydrogen use in transportation.
The Grampian Transport Museum in Alford started a Crowdfunder campaign earlier this year as it takes steps to take its visitor experience outside and make better use of its 15-acre site.
The museum’s first significant external exhibit is a 2014 Van Hool hydrogen fuel cell bus generously gifted by Aberdeen City Council.
The bus will be repurposed as a video theatre to extend Grampian Transport Museum’s ‘Probing the Future’ exhibition by telling the local and wider story of the development of the use of hydrogen for transportation.
