Scotland could benefit from a new programme that is aiming to trial hydrogen fuel cell trucks supported by a green hydrogen refuelling infrastructure.
The Scottish Hydrogen Fuel Cell Freight Train (SHyFT), led by Arcola Energy, will assess the opportunity for zero-emission fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) with key freight operators who are looking to decarbonise operations.
These industries include utilities, forestry, wholesale good and drink logistics which also includes cold chain.
