Santiago Airport, Chile set to be the first in Latin America capable of receiving and supplying hydrogen-powered aircraft

Santiago airport, Chile is set to become the first Latin American airport capable of receiving and supplying hydrogen-powered aircraft from 2030, the Ministry of Energy has said.

By incorporating green hydrogen into Santiago airport, it is expected that it could kickstart the hydrogen revolution in the South American nation whilst also support the regions decarbonisation goals.
