San Francisco’s first, and the state of California’s 42nd, hydrogen station is open for business.
Located on 551 3rd Street, it is the first of three stations to open in the city of San Francisco.
Developed by Shell, it has a larger capacity and more fuelling positions to meet the needs of the growing fuel cell passenger car market in the Bay Area.
The station, which will be open 24 hours a day, has a capacity of 513 kilograms and has two fuelling nozzles at H70 pressure.
