Samsung E&A to provide engineering for Liquid Wind’s global e-fuel plants

Liquid Wind and Samsung E&A will work together on developing green hydrogen-based e-fuel facilities in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The oil and gas EPC firm will provide engineering services for Liquid Wind’s future projects outside of Europe after the South Korean tech giant’s investment arm took a share in the company just weeks ago.

With the ambitious goal of setting up between 100 and 300 e-fuel facilities worldwide by 2040, Claes Frederiksson, CEO and founder of Liquid Wind, said, “We will explore the feasibility of developing e-fuel facilities outside of Europe to meet the increasing market demand of fossil-free fuel.”
