Float glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain Glass is looking to decarbonise its production facility in Eggborough, UK, with the introduction of hydrogen.
HyGear, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xebec Adsorption has today (16th Feb) confirmed that it will deliver an on-site hydrogen generation system as part of the effort.
The new order, along with other recent orders, support Xebec’s recently launched hydrogen supply strategy for the UK, which is marked by the started construction of a decentralised hydrogen production hub.
Located in West Bromich, the company’s second hub is expected to initially reach a capacity of 300 kg of hydrogen per day and can be gradually expanded based on market demands.
