SAIC Motor Maxus has rolled out 80 fuel-cell powered MIFA Hydrogen vehicles in Shanghai in partnership with the Xiangdao Chuxing mobility platform.
The vehicle runs on a 92kw fuel cell and features 70Mpa hydrogen storage system along with ‘aerospace-grade’ carbon fibre material, which can withstand high temperatures, and offers a range of 605km.
Hydrogen consumption per 100km totals 1.18kg, equivalent to 4 cents per km of use cost.
Customers can choose ‘business type’ vehicles, which can accommodate up to seven passengers, to place orders through the app, and comes with an ‘oversized’ electric panoramic sunroof.
