Ryze has agreed to provide aviation firm ZeroAvia with hydrogen for use in engine and flight testing at Cotswold Airport, the UK.
The deal with Ryze will ensure ZeroAvia receives regular deliveries to its UK testing site and will meet its increased demand for hydrogen as it tests its ZA600 powertrain for a 20-seat aircraft.
The partnership will utilise Ryze’s tube trailer fleet – the largest fleet by capacity in the UK with a variety of capabilities – enabling flexibility to support ZeroAvia’s research and testing requirements.
ZeroAvia is focused on hydrogen-electric, fuel cell engines for commercial aviation and recently received an order of 100 hydrogen-electric engines from United Airlines, shortly after Universal Hydrogen went bust.
