Russian-based Novatek is expected to supply blue ammonia and hydrogen to RWE as part of a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) revealed today (Dec 7).
Novatek is already established as one of the largest producers of natural gas in Russia and now the company is turning its attention to cleaner gases such as hydrogen.
Russia has a lot of potential to distribute large quantities of hydrogen to Europe and other areas of the world with an already well-established gas infrastructure system in addition to vast natural resources of green power generation for hydrogen production.
