Russia is continuing to build its hydrogen ecosystem on the path to net zero emissions with a new project that aims to decarbonise the Sakhalin Island transportation sector through hydrogen fuel cells.
The project will be explored through a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed today between Rosatom Overseas, KAMAZ, Far East Artic Development Corporation JSC and Sakhalin Region Development Corporation.
