RTA to trial hydrogen-powered bus in Dubai

The Government of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has agreed to trial a hydrogen-powered bus in Dubai.

Signed with Swaidan Trading Company, the bus will be tested on urban roads in the emirate to see if it suits the climate conditions of Dubai. ENOC will supply the hydrogen, with the initiative also testing the challenges and opportunities of hydrogen production and supply.

H2 View understands that the Chinese company Zhongtong Bus Holding provided the fuel cell system for the vehicle.
