H-Vision, a Rotterdam-based project for large-scale production and application of low carbon hydrogen for industrial energy supplies, is on track to begin the next development phase in June.
The main focus for the next stage of the project will be the design of the installations for large-scale production of hydrogen for the petrochemical industry and energy sector.
Rotterdam’s large-scale production of hydrogen in combination with its strategic location to develop into an international hub, where hydrogen is made, used and traded, allows H-Vision to form the start of a hydrogen economy in Rotterdam and to contribute to nation climate objectives.
H-Vision parties are currently deepening and updating the project’s feasibility study in order to further elaborate on the business case, a location of choice for the installations and an inventory of required infrastructure and storage needs.
