Central Queensland, Australia, has signed a new agreement with Rio Tinto which will see the two groups cooperate on the intended target of becoming a hydrogen superpower.
Revealed today (Oct 12), the agreement will secure future competitiveness of Queensland by adding value t a natural energy advantage to drive economic growth and investment in hydrogen for the area.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk of the Queensland Government, said, “This week we’ve announced the world’s largest hydrogen electrolyser manufacturing plant will be built in Central Queensland.”
