Ricardo has delivered a hydrogen-fuelled research engine to Cummins and automotive supplier BorgWarner.
The delivery of the engines is part of Project BRUNEL and was part funded by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC).
The engine is designed to burn only hydrogen with no other carbon emitting fuels needed, producing no carbonaceous or excessive air quality emissions.
