In a bid to support the growing hydrogen industry, C-Job Naval Architects has designed a new type of liquid hydrogen tanker that could enable the transportation of the clean fuel.
Unveiled today (May 3), the tanker co-designed with LH2 Europe, to help develop the supply chain for liquid hydrogen and promote the use of sustainable practices across the globe.
The tanker is powered by hydrogen fuel cells and is also equipped with three liquid hydrogen storage tanks with a total capacity of 37,500m3, enough to refuel 400,000 medium-sized hydrogen cars or 20,000 heavy trucks.
