Hydrogen is making great strides within the glass industry with Nippon Electric Glass revealing today (April 19) a successful demonstration of melting glass using only hydrogen fuel from a hydrogen-oxygen combustion burner.
The burner, jointly developed by Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation and Nippon Electric Glass, showcased how a combustion burner can change when mixing the ration of hydrogen and natural gas for when appropriate.
