Renault launches new hydrogen-powered passenger car concept

Renault Group has unveiled its new hydrogen-electric concept vehicle, designed to achieve a range of 620 miles.

Announced at the Mondial de l’Auto 2024, the Renault Embléme demo car forms part of the French manufacturing firm’s decarbonisation strategy, targeting carbon neutrality in Europe by 2040 and worldwide by 2050.

The vehicle will encompass a 40kWh battery beneath the floor and a 2.8kg hydrogen fuel cell in the front to power its 215hp motor.
