Quantron establishes Italian subsidiary acquiring EYES Group from FRIEM

German electric and hydrogen-powered truck manufacturer Quantron AG has established an Italian business dubbed Quantron Italy s.r.l.

Having acquired EYES Group s.r.l. from FRIEM S.p.A., a high-power converter producer, which Quantron says has a “leading” position in the green hydrogen supply chain, the company set up its Italian outfit.

Quantron Italy will boast a facility in Milan where it plans to initially assemble emission-free last mile vehicles, adding to the company’s global presence after establishing its American subsidiary last October (2022), Quantron US.
