Quantron and Oilinvest supply hydrogen refuelling infrastructure throughout Europe

Quantron and Oilinvest have agreed to develop hydrogen-based refuelling infrastructure to support fuel cell electric heavy trucks.

Under a strategic partnership agreement, the two companies will form a joint venture, dubbed HEMTRON, which will be based in Hamburg, Germany, and will aim to accelerate the decarbonisation of road freight in Europe.

Oilinvest subsidiaries operate around 2,450 refuelling stations under the Tamoil brand in Europe and together with third party and newly established locations, the network will provide a foundation for the increase of zero-emission fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
