Qarlbo Energy has acquired the remaining shares of Nilsson Energy from the Swedish hydrogen player’s three founders, seeing it become the sole owner.
Roger Göthberg has taken the rains as CEO. With a mandate to strengthen the company’s position as a “centre of competence” in hydrogen solutions, Göthberg will utilise experience from MAN Energy Solutions and Skangas (now Gasum).
The complete buyout comes after Qarlbo became the majority owner of Nilsson in 2021. Now Nilsson, alongside its sister company Hydri, will form the basis of Qarlbo’s platform to develop in the environmental sector.
